Jeffrey Specht, executive director of the Defense Cyber Crime Center operating under the U.S. Air Force, will join Jude Sunderbruch, executive director of the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, and other panelists in a discussion on cybersecurity at a GovCon Wire event Wednesday.
Specht leads DC3’s efforts to provide computer forensics and training to various Department of Defense mission areas. He assumed his current position in November 2018 after six years as AFOSI executive director.
In his current capacity, Sunderbruch oversees AFOSI’s enterprise, headquarters management and strategic engagement functions, Special Investigations Career Program and cyber and other command priorities. He previously served as command counterintelligence coordinating authority for U.S. European Command in Stuttgart, Germany, and special adviser to the assistant director of the FBI’s cyber division in Washington, D.C.
The Defense Cybersecurity Forum will feature Morgan Adamski, chief of the National Security Agency’s Cybersecurity Collaboration Center as keynote speaker. She will be introduced by Tom Afferton, president of Peraton’s cyber mission sector.
Bob Renko, director of digital forensics at Peraton, will be the panel moderator. The other participants are Daniel D’Ambrosio, executive assistant director of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service‘s cyber directorate; and Richard Naylor, deputy assistant director of cyber operations at the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency.
