Northrop Grumman’s Shawn Purvis Climbs 2021 Wash100 Vote Standings; Cast Your Votes for 2021 Wash100 Award Winners

Following last week’s results of the 2021 Wash100 Vote Standings, more than 500 additional votes have been cast to determine who the government contracting (GovCon) community thinks is the most significant executive of consequence to the sector as 2021 picks up the pace.

To vote for your favorite executives from the 2021 Wash100 Award selection, as well as learn more about the history of the Wash100 Award, visit Wash100.com.

Last week, it was reported that Phebe Novakovic, chairwoman and CEO for General Dynamics, was holding the top spot in the standings in a narrow lead over Gen. Lloyd Austin, Secretary of Defense with the Department of Defense (DOD). In the coming weeks, the battle for the top spot is expected to heat up as YOUR votes continue to be cast in record numbers and participation.

In addition, Lauren Knausenberger, CEO with the U.S. Air Force, had secured third place in the standings while Chris Brady, President of General Dynamics Mission Systems, and Amy Gilliland, President of General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), held onto the fourth and fifth place spots as last week’s voting came to an end.

After this week’s voting contributions (don’t forget to vote yourself), it’s been reported that first time Wash100 Award recipient Shawn Purvis, corporate vice president and president of enterprise services at Northrop Grumman, has climbed the rankings into the fourth spot to end this week.

Here are the 2021 Wash100 Vote Standings as they stand on March 19th, 2021:

Will Shawn Purvis continue her ascent up the Wash100 Standings? Will Phebe Novakovic be able to hold the top spot for another week as the April 30th vote deadline approaches? Will another Wash100 recipient be able to crack the top 10 to build momentum in the rankings?

Believe it or not, the answer to all these questions is up to YOU. Visit Wash100.com to cast your TEN votes TODAY to advocate for your favorite leaders in the GovCon, federal and government sectors. The elite leader with the most votes by April 30th will be recognized by the GovCon community as the industry’s most influential member.
