Army Engineers Post Small Business Set-Aside RFP for Environmental Response Actions

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ northwestern division is looking for qualified 8(a) small businesses to support environmental remediation and restoration projects that could include remedial action-related incidental construction, demolition, site investigation and waste disposal work.

USACE Seattle District plans to issue a $115 million small business set-aside contract to address environmental remediation requirements as part of the agency’s Multiple Environmental Government Acquisition Strategy, according to a solicitation notice posted on SAM .gov.

Potential contractors will investigate designated sites for any presence of perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances and support activities under the Defense Environmental Restoration Program.

The multiple-award contract also covers cleanup efforts under the Base Realignment and Closure Program as well as other environmental and homeland security policies.

USACE noted the contracting opportunity will have a three-year base period, a two-year option and an additional six-month extension.

Interested small businesses can submit offers through April 15.
