Two Six Technologies has appointed government and industry leaders Mike Daniels, Tiffanny Gates, Charles Hooper and Michael McConnell to its board of directors to help drive the company’s strategic vision and advance the development of technology platforms for national security clients.
Daniels, former chairman and CEO of Network Solutions, most recently served as chairman of the board of Two Six Labs and is a tech industry leader and investor who has sit on the boards of 23 private, public and nonprofit companies, Two Six Technologies said Tuesday.
Gates is president and CEO of Novetta and a 2021 Wash100 Award winner. She held executive roles at Blackbird Technologies, ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT) and Emerging Technologies Group and served as a technical analyst at the National Security Agency and as a consultant to the national security/information assurance team for the commander of the Naval Security Group.
Hooper is a retired U.S. Army lieutenant general and serves as senior counselor with The Cohen Group. He is a global military technology expert and a previous Wash100 Award winner.
McConnell is a retired U.S. Navy vice admiral and executive director of Cyber Florida. He previously served as vice chairman of Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), director of the NSA and national intelligence director.
Two Six Technologies officially launched in February through the combination of Two Six Labs and IST Research acquired by global investment firm The Carlyle Group (Nasdaq: CG). The company is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, with over 285 employees focused on delivering cybersecurity, research and development and other tech platforms to defense, intelligence community and national security clients.
