The Chugach Range and Facilities Services joint venture will help the U.S. Air Force collect radar, telemetry and tracking data under the potential $113 million Ascension Island Mission Services contract.
Chugach will also perform base operating support work such as maintaining facilities, equipment and utilities on the Ascension Island Auxiliary Airfield, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Five offers were submitted to the 45th Contracting Squadron for the firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-reimbursable contract.
The branch is obligating $104,367 at the time of award and expects work to conclude on Sept. 30, 2025.
