Stephanie O’Sullivan, who served as principal deputy director in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence from 2011 to 2017 and a previous Wash100 awardee, formally joined Huntington Ingalls Industries‘ (NYSE: HII) board of directors Friday.
She has worked as a business consultant since her retirement from federal service and supports study activities for the CIA and the Department of Defense, HII said Wednesday.
Before she joined ODNI, O’Sullivan spent 16 years at the CIA in roles such as associate deputy director and other management positions within its science and technology directorate.
Her career also includes time at TRW and at the Office of Naval Intelligence.
She is also a board member for Battelle, The Aerospace Corp., the CIA Officers Memorial Foundation, HRL Laboratories, Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), Peraton and Noblis. She previously served on the advisory boards of Adobe, Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Google (Nasdaq: GOOGL).
O’Sullivan has been part of Georgetown University’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology as an adjunct faculty member.
