Brian Goodger, acting director of the National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center, said the Department of Health and Human Services plans to release a solicitation for the potential 10-year, $40B Chief Information Officer β Solutions and Partners follow-on contract for IT support services in early February, Bloomberg Government reported Tuesday.
Goodger said NITAAC expects to accept proposals for the CIO-SP4 contract until the end of March with plans to hold a source selection process by the fall of this year and issue award notices by January 2022.
In March 2020, NITAAC issued a draft request for proposals for the CIO-SP4 vehicle, which will combine the CIO-SP3 and CIO-SP3 Small Business contracts.
NITAAC expects to make about 400 awards through the CIO-SP4 contract.
