The U.S. Navy is looking for potential sources of data analytics and business intelligence services in support of teams that help manage the center’s product and department-level operations.
Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic said in a notice posted Tuesday on SAM.gov that the Management and Business Analytical Systems II contract covers a range of support for the center’s business intelligence environment which includes the command, competency and department division.
According to the solicitation document, MBAS II will have a total potential value of $241.9 million to cover a five-year ordering period plus a six-month extension option. The option period will have a ceiling value of $23.2 million.
Work under MBAS II will cover financial and business data analysis, data system maintenance, financial reviews and related assessments.
Tasks in support of the NIWC Atlantic BIE also includes management of tools such as the center’s enterprise resource planning platform intended to support the departments of Defense and Navy as well as other federal agencies.
MBAS II additionally entails combining predictive and prescriptive analytics in line with maturity model requirements and data science methodologies, the notice states.
Responses to the solicitation are due on Feb. 16.
