Booz Allen Hamilton executives Steve Escaravage, senior vice president, and Graham Gilmer, principal, will discuss how to advance technology at speed as well as how private-public partnerships are critical to maintaining the competitive advantage within the technology race during Potomac Officers Club’s 3rd Annual Artificial Intelligence Summit on March 30th.

During the Summit, Escaravage will serve as introducer. With Booz Allen, he leads the development and delivery of analytics solutions for a wide range of client missions including intelligence exploitation, surveillance, fraud detection and mitigation, and inspection optimization.
He recently discussed the company’s five-year, $800 million contract by the GSA’s Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM) and the Department of Defense (DoD) to provide artificial intelligence (AI) services to support the Joint AI Center (JAIC), which Booz Allen was awarded in June 2020.
Booz Allen will support the JAIC’s Joint Warfighting National Mission Initiative (JWNMI), serving as the prime systems integrator in the development of new artificial intelligence technologies and products to improve operational effectiveness in all domains. The company will source emerging technologies from industry partners to deliver AI capabilities to JWNMI.

During the AI Summit, Gilmer will moderate the expert panel. As principal with Booz Allen, he leads a team that delivers innovative AI capabilities for defense and intelligence clients. Gilmer is an analytics leader, focused on research and client delivery in the areas of machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence (AI), and high-performance computing.
Gilmer is the primary hub for Booz Allen’s work supporting AI initiatives across the Department of Defense (DoD). He is also the technical lead for investments in processing, exploitation, and dissemination modernization, seeking to incorporate advanced algorithmic techniques, automation, and machine learning to transform intelligence analysis.
Over the past few years, AI has advanced technology that will change aspects of defense, security and intelligence across the federal and industry sectors, as well as the character of the future battlefield. It is more vital than ever before that AI standards provide a globally-accepted road map for AI-ready digital modernization, AI acquisition best practices and automated AI testing and assurance.
