Eight small businesses have won spots on a four-year, $130 million contract to support dredging construction projects within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer's Great Lakes and Ohio River Division.
USACE received nine bids for the firm-fixed-price contract via the internet and will provide funding and location details upon the issuance of individual orders, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
Tasks have an estimated completion date of Feb. 2, 2025.
The Great Lakes and Ohio River Division functions as a regional business center that provides engineering, contracting and project management support to USACE customers across 17 states.
The awardees are:
- Dean Marine & Excavating
- Geo. Gradel
- Great Lakes Dock and Materials
- Luedtke Engineering
- MCM Marine
- Roen Salvage
- RYBA Marine Construction
- The King Co.
