The Archer Western Federal joint venture has won a potential $136.5M contract to construct multistory training and administrative facilities at the military installation for the U.S. Marine Corps.
The contract, which has a base value of $102.6M and six planned modifications, covers design-build and renovation activities at headquarters facilities located within Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Specific U.S. Marine Corps components covered by the firm-fixed-price award include II Marine Expeditionary Force, the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, the 2nd Maire Logistics Group and the 2nd Marine Division.
Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command received nine bids for the firm-fixed-price award and will obligate the base value’s full amount in fiscal 2020 Marine Corps military construction funds at the time of award.
Contract work is projected to conclude in May 2025.
