Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) will continue to help U.S. military services maintain, repair and operate facilities for an additional year under a $90M bridge contract from the Defense Logistics Agency.
The company will perform work through Dec. 14, 2021, on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands and in New Jersey, Hawaii and Guam, the Department of Defense said Monday.
DLA's current one-year contract with SAIC runs through Jan. 8.
The U.S. Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, Navy and Marine Corps are the using branches under the firm-fixed-price contract.
SAIC received a separate seven-year, $950M contract in March to help the DLA manage its supply chain of paints, adhesives and sealing compounds as part of the Federal Supply Group – 80 program. This award contains a three-year base period and a pair of two-year options.
