Leonardo DRS and VT Group have secured positions on a five-year, $211.6M contract to help the U.S. Navy sustain technical insertion equipment.
The two companies will produce, assemble and test spares of Technical Insertion 2016 equipment, perform technical support and install ordnance alteration kits under multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Services include procurement, harvesting and engineering tasks. The military branch received two offers and allocated a $5K minimum guarantee for each awardee.
Work will take place in Virginia, Mississippi, California, Washington, Florida, New Jersey, Hawaii and Japan, through December 2025.
