Systems Planning and Analysis (SPA) has been awarded an $85 million contract from the U.S. Navy's Strategic Systems Programs office to provide technical support for the Trident II submarine-launched ballistic missile system.
“This mission is essential for the Department of Defense as part of the nation’s Nuclear Triad," said SPA President and CEO William Vantine.
“For 46 years SPA has supported this critically important nuclear deterrence program and we are grateful to be able to continue our long standing partnership with SSP supporting this critical strategic mission.”
Under the contract, the company will also support the Navy in arms control, assessment and training for high-risk technology management, systems engineering and special studies.
