An OptumServe subsidiary has received a one-year, $162M bridge contract modification from the Defense Health Agency to continue delivery of medical readiness support services while DHA undertakes a competitive follow-on award process for the requirement.
Logistics Health Inc. will help military service components with physical tests, mental health assessments, dental examinations and other efforts meant to ensure that medical and dental standards are met to maintain warfighter readiness, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
LHI will host group events via its call center under the Reserve Health Readiness Program for military personnel across U.S. states and territories, the District of Columbia and Germany.
Work is scheduled to begin on Dec. 1 and will continue through Nov. 30 next year.
DHA awarded the bridge contract on an other than full and open competition basis.
