BAE Systems' Norfolk Ship Repair business has won a potential one-year, $100.5M U.S. Navy contract to perform docking selected restricted availability work on the USS Stout ship.
The company will receive $76.2M at the time of award to update, repair and maintain systems of the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Naval Sea Systems Command awarded the contract after a coast-wide, full and open competition. Work will take place at the company's shipyard, with an expected completion date of November 2021.
