General Dynamics' (NYSE: GD) information technology unit has won a potential five-year, $78M task order to help the Department of Health and Human Services manage the national child support program, G2Xchange Health reported Friday.
HHS issued the task order under the National Institutes of Health's Chief Information Officer-Solutions and Partners 3 contract vehicle.
Specifically, the GDIT business will support the Office of Child Support Enforcement — which works with state and tribal governments to provide child assistance services.
Other prior awards won by the unit includes a $34M CIO-SP3 task order to support the department's electronic case adjudication and processing environment and a $241M contract for the delivery of cloud-based products to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
