Craig Abod, president of Carahsoft Technology Corp., has received his 2020 Wash100 Award for driving expansion and revenue through major contract award wins as well as his efforts to improve IT modernization within the government contracting (GovCon) sector.
This marks the sixth win for Abod in the seven year history of the Wash100 Award. Previously, Abod won his 2019 Wash100 Award for delivering IT platforms and expanding opportunities in the federal marketplace.Â
For his latest Wash100 Award win, Craig Abod has continued to support those missions through Carahsoftâs potential 10-year, $820.4 million Enterprise Software Initiative blanket purchase agreement from Sept. 2019.Â
Under the contract, Abod will continue to provide IT support and asset management products to the Department of Defense, U.S. Coast Guard and intelligence communities. âCarahsoft is proud to support the DoD and intelligence sector,â said Abod.Â
The Enterprise Software Initiative contract vehicle covers asset management products and information technology support in line with requirements under the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act.
In addition, Carahsoft was selected for the fourth consecutive time as a part of Forbes list of the largest private companies in the U.S. The 2019 list features 228 companies with a cumulative revenue of $1.65 trillion and a total of 4.7 million employees.
âWe are honored to rank on this prestigious list for the fourth time and proud to join the top 100 private companies in America,â said Abod.
Executive Mosaic congratulates Carahsoft and Craig Abod for his 2020 Wash100 Award. Abodâs continued dedication to develop the companyâs intelligence systems, drive growth and expansion for the company as well as the GovCon industry.
