Q.E.D. Systems has secured a potential three-year, $229.4M contract to help the U.S. Navy develop specifications and implement an availability strategy for multiple naval ship classes.
The company will perform support work that was previously referred to as "third party planning services" for the Navy's guided-missile destroyer and cruiser ships, and landing helicopter assault and dock landing platforms, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The sole-source contract has a $79.4M base value, with initial obligated funds amounting to $2.8M.
