For the second consecutive year, SOS International CEO Julian Setian has received a Wash100 Award for his leadership and vision to drive company growth and innovation for its technical capabilities in cloud, cybersecurity, data analytics and software development.
Setian received his 2019 Wash100 Award last year for securing major contracts and driving major acquisitions for SOSi, including its acquisition of STG to expand its cybersecurity, data analytics and software development capabilities.
Under his leadership, Setian has continued to drive company growth and expansion of its vital capabilities. Most notably, SOSi secured a position on the Defense Intelligence Agency’s (DIA) potential 10-year, $17.1 billion Intelligence Analysis 3 IDIQ contract to work on a variety of analytic and operational support services for the agency.
“SOSi has supported the SIA program for several years going back to the first iteration of the contract, and this award reflects our growing leadership in the national security community,” Setian stated.
In addition, SOSi acquired Vykin, a communications and information technology support company, to grow IT and intelligence offerings for the defense sector in July 2019. The company also acquired NorthStar Systems to gain its service offerings and technology solutions.
Through SOSi’s acquisitions, the company has been able to develop a proprietary cloud-based artificial intelligence platform that utilizes learning algorithms to sort over 1 million data sources in real time throughout the world.
“We’re continuing to expand our strategic position by acquiring unique and differentiating technologies where we see the potential for growth,” Setian noted.
Executive Mosaic congratulates SOSi and Julian Setian on his 2020 Wash100 Award. Setian’s leadership has driven vast growth for SOSi business portfolio and technical capabilities. His success has driven business for the government contracting (GovCon) sector and established Setian as one of the most influential executives to the GovCon industry.
