Six Firms Win Spots on Potential $722M VA Wired Telecom Services IDIQ

The Department of Veterans Affairs has awarded a potential 15-year, $722M indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to six companies to provide wired telecommunications services to VA Medical Centers.

The National Local Exchange Carrier – Next Generation contract covers 24/7 telephone and data services including nonrecurring charges based on each facility’s specifications, according to the performance work statement.

Work under the IDIQ award also includes customer service and help desk support in line with the VA’s efforts to centralize enterprise-wide LEC operations.

Contractors will perform their services at designated VAMCs as well as Veteran Outreach Centers, VA business offices, community-based outreach clinics and other related facilities across the continental U.S.

  • Manhattan telecommunications

  • Windstream Communications
