General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) information technology business has received a potential $100M task order from the Defense Intelligence Agency to provide engineering services in support of DIA’s information technology modernization efforts.
The Infrastructure Services Enterprise Engineering task order awarded through the Enhanced Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a one-year base term, four option years and another option of six months and covers system design, testing plans, architecture and security accreditation, General Dynamics Information Technology said Tuesday.
Deb Davis, vice president and general manager of mission solutions and service sector at GDIT’s intelligence and homeland security division, said the ISEE award seeks to reflect the company’s ability to come up and deliver enterprise IT infrastructure platforms at scale and continues GDIT’s more than three decades of experience supporting DIA and its national security mission.
Work on the task order will support the modernization of the Department of Defense Intelligence Information System’s infrastructure.
