Johnson founded Aurora WDC, the strategic, market and competitive intelligence software, consulting and learning enterprise, in 1995. He currently works on problem sets presented outside of traditional competitive intelligence doctrine associated with the Centers for Open Reconnaissance (COR.vc), Aurora's R&D lab and policy analysis network.
He has served in volunteer roles with SCIP, the Council of CI Fellows, Europe's Institute for CI, various collaborations in Greater China, and many other of Aurora's own initiatives connecting insights, analysts and tradecraft, with a concentration on the commercial and economic intelligence front.
