Tetra Tech (Nasdaq: TTEK) has acquired BlueWater Federal Solutions, a Chantilly, Virginia-based information technology systems and services firm, for an undisclosed sum as part of efforts to further expand its analytics business.
“The addition of BlueWater builds on our strategy to grow our advanced analytics business with expanded capabilities in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity solutions, and mission-essential services for our U.S. federal customers,” Dan Batrack, chairman and CEO of Tetra Tech, said in a statement published Tuesday.
Tetra Tech will integrate BlueWater into its government services group.
BlueWater has more than 350 employees focused on providing enterprise IT platforms, cybersecurity, global command and control, applications development and engineering support to U.S. government clients, including the Department of Defense and intelligence agencies.
The transaction came seven months after Tetra Tech purchased IT management consulting firm Segue Technologies.
