The U.S. Air Force has awarded Herndon, Va.-based artificial intelligence platform maker Geospark Analytics a potential five-year, $95M contract to help the U.S. Space Force commercialize the company's Hyperion predictive analytics technology.
Under the enterprise-level agreement, Geospark will facilitate the third phase of commercialization efforts for its Hyperion AI platform as part of the Small Business Innovation Research program's phase one activities, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
Hyperion AI will provide real-time forecasting and situational awareness support to the Space Force to help the service branch as well as federal entities identify and predict emerging events while mitigating risks on a global level.
The Space Force will obligate $200K in fiscal 2020 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
Work under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will take place in Herndon through Sept. 1, 2025.
