The Office of Personnel Management has begun to seek information to help inform its acquisition strategy for a potential five-year, $640M follow-on contract for e-learning services, Bloomberg Government reported Wednesday.
TheĀ USALearning Education, Training Products and Services recompete contract will be used by the Department of Defense and other federal agencies as a shared resource for e-learning services and products.
The USALearning contract has 17 functional areas, including program office services, cybersecurity, software license acquisition, systems integration, virtual training and learning content management systems, according to the draft performance work statement.
Powertrain is the incumbent on the e-learning services contract. The report said OPM had obligated $206M on the current contract as of Aug. 27 and might extend the contract for another year while it competes the follow-on.
OPM will accept questions by Sept. 4 and responses to the RFI by Sept. 18.
