The National Strategic Research Institute at University of Nebraska has received a $92M contract to explore methods for defending against weapons of mass destruction and conduct other mission-related studies for U.S. Strategic Command.
NSRI will also test, assess and analyze technologies for nuclear, chemical and biological weapons detection and WMD consequence management, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The Stratcom-sponsored institute will receive $1K at the time of award and perform services through Feb. 28, 2026, under the single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
The U.S. Air Force’s 55th Contracting Squadron is the contracting activity.
