Steve Walters, former general manager of the federal civilian business at Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT), has joined ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW) as vice president of the cloud software provider's federal group, G2Xchange FedCiv reported Thursday.
Santa Clara, Calif.-based ServiceNow built its unified platform to help organizations create, automate and extend digital workflow applications across the enterprise.
Walters held a nine-year career at Microsoft, where his previous responsibilities encompassed U.S. Army and joint and defense accounts.
He also worked at Hewlett-Packard as a senior account executive focused on the Department of Defense and served as an Army captain for eight years.
