ASMD has won a potential $100M contract from the U.S. Navy to design and engineer facilities or infrastructure within Naval Facilities Engineering Command's Pacific area of responsibility.
Japan will finance development projects under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with direct cash contributions, also called Mamizu funds, as part of a defense policy review initiative with the U.S., the Department of Defense said Friday.
Tasks will include design-build solicitation, site and engineering investigative reporting, functional analysis, contract documentation and post-construction services.
NAVFAC received two proposals for the IDIQ via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online portal.
The company will initially receive $20K in contract funds and is expected to finish work by July 2025.
