The federal subsidiary of Accenture (NYSE: ACN) announced it will establish a center in St. Louis to provide digital, cloud, automation, artificial intelligence and cyber technology support to customer agencies, the company announced Tuesday.
“The region’s skilled talent, vibrant technology ecosystem and strong commitment to collaboration between government, civic, business, academic and community partners make St. Louis the ideal location for our new Advanced Technology Center. We are thrilled to provide our people and new hires a great place to do work that matters by expanding our operations in this area,” said John Goodman, CEO of Accenture Federal Services and 2020 Wash100 Award recipient.
The AFS Advanced Technology Center is expected to bring up to 1,400 new technology jobs to the St. Louis area over five years. AFS utilized strategic regional insight, market analysis and the business and civic relationships.
The AFS Advanced Technology Center will collaborate with the AFS Cyber and Advanced Technology Centers, the Accenture Federal Digital Studio and specialized centers to to design and deliver modern solutions for the company’s federal clients at speed and at scale.
