Accenture’s (NYSE: ACN) federal arm has received a potential four-year, $328.6M task order from the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide DevSecOps support services for VA’s Loan Guaranty Service program.
An award notice posted Tuesday says VA received three proposals and awarded the firm-fixed-price task order through the General Services Administration’s Information Technology Schedule 70.
Accenture Federal Services will build and maintain a platform designed to enhance scalability, streamline systems and facilitate the delivery of services to veterans. The company will develop the platform using the Product Line Management playbook, Scaled Agile Framework and other modern methodologies, according to the performance work statement.
The task order requires the contactor to administer, run and improve the LGY product line in accordance with several working principles, such as integrating Agile methodology, incorporating user research and usability testing best practices, adopting robotic process automation when possible and delivering code as open source software pursuant to the Office of Management and Budget’s guidance.
VA initially obligated $19.2M in funds for the task order, which has a one-year base period and three option years.
