Affiliated Engineers SE, BRPH Architects Engineers and Nelson Engineering have landed spots on a five-year, $150 million contract to build, rehabilitate or update mechanical systems for NASA. The multiple-award contract covers architect-engineer work on ordinary and complex mechanical equipment for agency facilities and ground support infrastructure, NASA said Saturday.
Work will include heating, ventilation and air conditioning system preparations; environmental control analyses; waste water system engineering; and cryogenic, steam and gas storage systems design services.
The agency may require contractors to perform tasks at various government facilities such as Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, Stennis Space Center in Mississippi and Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
