The Department of Energy is soliciting bids for a potential 10-year, $6.4B contract for environmental cleanup services at the Idaho National Laboratory site.
DOE said Tuesday the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will cover nuclear fuel management, facility decommissioning, remediation, waste treatment and infrastructure operations support.
Work will take place at the INL site close to Idaho Falls and the Fort Saint Vrain plant near Platteville, Colo.
The department noted its Office of Environmental Management will use an "end-state contracting model" to evaluate bidders for the IDIQ contract.
