Excelicon delivered a supply of N95 face masks to Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Md., in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company reported on Tuesday.
“As COVID-19 hampers the world and our lives in an unprecedented way, the front-line resources are putting themselves in harm’s way every day to combat this pandemic,“ said Tushar Garg, CEO of Excelicon. “This donation is the least we can do to show our support and stay true to our ideals of supporting the mission and those that need help the most.”
Excelicon donated masks for employees who interact in public spaces. The company also ordered a second case for the staff at Suburban Hospital. Every mask received by Excelicon staff was matched with one for hospital staff. Suburban Hospital has accepted donations of PPE as well as financial contributions.
In addition to the mask delivery, the company has made additional efforts to protect the safety of its employees and their families. Excelicon will continue to serve government clients while working remotely.
