General Dynamics Unit Gets $400M IDIQ to Produce WIN-T Communications System Spares

General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) mission systems business has secured a potential 10-year, $400M contract to manufacture spare parts for a military network system used to facilitate on-the-move communications.

The Defense Logistics Agency’s land and maritime organization awarded the sole-source contract that supports the Warfighter Information Network-Tactical Increment system, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a five-year base period that runs through April 29, 2025, followed by one five-year option.

The Army will finance orders via working capital funds allotted for fiscal years 2020 through 2025.

WIN-T works to help warfighters transmit real-time video, view maps, request artillery support, access mission command applications and connect with commanders.
