ACE Electronics Defense Systems has won a potential 10-year, $206M contract with a $2M minimum guarantee from the Defense Information Systems Agency to manufacture installation kits for the U.S. Army.
The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization received two proposals for the single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via a small business set-aside competition, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
DoD noted the first delivery order is worth nearly $16.9M and will be financed with the Army’s fiscal 2020 other procurement funds.
The company will perform contract work at its facility and deliver the kits to the Red River Army Depot. Work is initially scheduled to conclude by April 14, 2023, and would extend through April 14, 2030 if all options are exercised.
According to a statement of work, installation kits are a key component of the Army’s Joint Battle Command-Platform, a networked system designed to help military units exchange situational awareness, operational and command-and-control data in near-real time.
