BGOV: DHS Preps Draft RFP for $288M Cellular Wireless Managed Services Recompete

Jeff Brody

The Department of Homeland Security plans to issue in April a draft solicitation for the potential five-year, $288M Cellular Wireless Managed Services recompete contract, Bloomberg Government reported Thursday.

DHS intends to hold a virtual industry day in April, release a final request for proposals in June and award CWMS as a single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract set aside for a small business by the end of October.

The CWMS follow-on contract will have a one-year base term and four option years and cover satellite, cellular and data services, mobile device management, web-based device management and ordering portal and help desk support and other technical services.

WidePoint’s iSYS subsidiary is the incumbent on the first CWMS contract since 2014.
