Doug Lane, president and CEO of Capgemini‘s government solutions services and a former Wash100 inductee, has joined the board of directors at the Professional Services Council.

He will work closely with PSC leaders and staff members to address its mission and offer input on the organization’s priorities, the council said Friday.

“Doug will be a welcome addition given his experience supporting federal agencies,” said David Berteau,  president and CEO of PSC and a two-time Wash100 winner.

“The reality of shifting federal budgets requires that we work together to keep PSC at the forefront of contractor advocacy on behalf of our member companies. I’m very pleased that Doug will serve on our Board and contribute to PSC’s mission.”

Lane has led Capgemini Government Solutions and its efforts to deliver management and information technology consulting services to the public sector since May 2014.

He also chairs the talent and compensation committee at the University of Maryland University College’s nonprofit arm, UMUC Ventures. His corporate career also includes time as senior vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) and partner at A.T. Kearney, IBM’s (NYSE: IBM) consulting services business and PwC.
