The U.S. Navy has issued a $92M award to eight contractors under an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for building construction services within Naval Facilities Engineering Command's southwest area of responsibility.
New funds increased the potential value of the five-year, multiple-award IDIQ to $842M, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
Task orders encompass construction, repair and renovation of institutional and commercial facilities at government-owned installations throughout the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada and Utah.
NAVFAC received 22 proposals for the original contract via a competitive procurement on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online portal.
