Systems Planning and Analysis has received a potential five-year, $90M contract to help the Department of Defense and the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. assess potential national security risks from transactions involving foreign investors.
SPA said Tuesday it will work with the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Policy to review CFIUS cases and collaborate with DoD stakeholders and technology professionals to address foreign investment risks as part of the contract.
"Ensuring U.S. warfighting capabilities maintain the advantage over our adversaries is an essential mission of the Department of Defense and one that our team of dedicated professionals is passionate about," SPA President and CEO William Vantine said.
Vantine added the company has helped DoD secure the defense industrial base and supply chain over the past 15 years.
