Executive Mosaic is honored to present Mark Gray, president and CEO of ASRC Federal, as an inductee of the 2020 Wash100 Award for driving the company’s revenue through major contract wins and ensuring the delivery of exceptional services to government clients.
This is Gray’s sixth consecutive Wash100 Award. Gray joined ASRC Federal in 2014 and has since led the government services firm’s engineering, information technology, infrastructure support and technical assistance operations in 40 locations across the U.S. He also held executive roles at URS and INDUS prior to his current capacity.
This year, ASRC Federal’s system solutions business began work under a $350 million contract to provide mission support at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland.
First announced in November, the Program Analysis and Control V follow-on award includes configuration management, accounting and general business support services. NASA selected ASRC Federal’s InuTeq subsidiary for the original contract awarded in 2014.
“We are committed to further evolving our customer partnership to ensure mission success and deliver the services and solutions needed to support NASA’s space exploration and Earth Sciences missions,” Gray said at the time. “We are proud to have earned the opportunity to continue our partnership with NASA Goddard Space Flight Center on the PAAC V contract.”
The company recently landed a potential $276.6 million award to support the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency’s operations including background investigation and case processing activities.
In September, ASRC booked a $470 million contract to provide services such as operations support, facilities management, logistics support, infrastructure maintenance, aircraft refueling and fire protection to the Pacific Air Forces.
Gray noted that the Installation Support Services for Geographically Separated Locations award will help the company expand its partnership with the PACAF Regional Support Center while enabling it to build on its operations and maintenance expertise.
The award comes months after ASRC’s NetCentric business secured a potential $100 million award to perform software development and system support work for the Office of Consular Systems and Technology within the State Department’s Bureau of Consular Affairs.
“Our NetCentric personnel understand the complex mission of Consular Affairs and the evolving challenges of protecting the lives and interests of U.S. citizens abroad,” Gray said. “We are honored to be selected by the Department of State to ensure critical systems and applications are securely deployed in support of this important global mission.”
In addition to partnerships in the government sector, ASRC also earned recognition in the tech industry landscape. In June, the company received a “Gold” competency status from Microsoft in recognition of the former’s cloud infrastructure and data center support.
“Our partnership with Microsoft expands our ability to provide best-in-class solutions and innovations to our government customers in support of their missions,” Gray noted.
Executive Mosaic congratulates ASRC Federal and Mark Gray for his 2020 Wash100 Award selection. The company and Gray’s commitment to driving revenue, securing major contracts to help federal agencies and mission success for customers like NASA demonstrate the level of success they aspire to reach in the GovCon sector.
