Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has secured a potential $655M contract from the U.S. Air Force to engineer, develop, integrate and sustain the Space and Missile Systems Center’s ground system infrastructure.
SAIC will support current SMC systems during the Enterprise Ground Services transition and buildout projects, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The center received five proposals for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via a competitive acquisition process.
Work will take place at Kirtland AF Base in New Mexico and Schriever AFB in Colorado through July 2, 2027.
The military service officially awarded the contract to Engility, which SAIC acquired last year in a $2.5B all-stock deal.
