VT Group has won a potential five-year, $104.9M contract to provide aircraft support services for the U.S. Navy's Presidential Helicopters Program office.
The company will also support Helicopter Marine Squadron One and Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Twenty-One through the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Monday.
The Navy officially awarded the contract to National Technologies Associates, which VT Group acquired last year. Contract work covers research, development, test and evaluation, limited engineering, aircraft maintenance and logistics services.
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division received two offers for the IDIQ. Ninety percent of contract work will take place in Patuxent River, Md., and the rest in Quantico, Va.
DoD expects the company to complete services by February 2025.
Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) Sikorsky subsidiary secured a three-year, $542M contract modification in June 2019 to begin low-rate initial production of VH-92A presidential transport helicopters.
