Ross Woodley, president of Red River's consulting services unitĀ over the past year, has been promoted to the position of chief programs officer.
He joined the technology firm in late 2016 as vice president of strategic programs and will continue to oversee that area as well as businesses under the consulting services group, the companyĀ said Thursday.
Woodley helped Red River secure the potential 10-year, $46MĀ Strategic Offender Management System contract from the State of CaliforniaĀ and a subcontract from Accenture (NYSE: ACN) to help the Department of Energy adopt cloud technology underĀ theĀ CIO Business Operations Support Services blanket purchase agreement.
He previously directed Dell EMC's pursuit of combatant command, defense agency and military health system programs and served as the company's account executive for Department of Veteran Affairs.
The U.S. Air Force veteran served as director of Joint Forces Command's Washington operations before he retired from military service with the rank of colonel.
