Whitney, Bradley & Brown, a portfolio company of private equity firm H.I.G. Capital, has completed its acquisition of Arlington, Va.-based Decisive Analytics Corp. for an undisclosed sum.
WBB CEO Robert Olsen said in a statement published Wednesday DAC has been delivering mission critical services to the federal government for two decades and the transaction allows WBB to continue to provide products and services to clients and create opportunities for 1K employees.
“This acquisition builds on WBB’s organic growth and allows domain expertise within critical capabilities including program management, systems engineering, vehicle integration and prototyping, cybersecurity, data analytics and development,” Olsen added.
Founded in 1996, DAC provides analytical and engineering support to the Department of Defense and the intelligence community. It has supported federal agencies’ mission critical programs and has developed capabilities in lifestyle logistics, data analytics, systems engineering, cybersecurity and machine learning.
In October, WBB closed its purchase of BRTRC Federal Solutions as part of efforts to build up its presence as a provider of mission critical services to the federal government.
