AECOM has secured a potential three-year, $520M task order to help the U.S. Army maintain, update, repair, modify or overhaul military vehicles and equipment at multiple U.S. Army facilities.
The company said Thursday it will support industrial base activities at the Red River Army Depot, Sierra Army Depot, Rock Island Arsenal and Anniston Army Depot.
The task order, which contains one base year plus two one-year options, was awarded under the Tank and Automotive Command's Strategic Services Solutions contract vehicle.
“Our team continues to bring extensive experience and capability focused to ensure critical equipment is at its highest level of readiness to support the Army’s mission,” said John Vollmer, president of AECOM's management services group and a 2019 Wash100 winner.
Private equity firms American Securities and Lindsay Goldberg agreed to buy Germantown, Md.-based AECOM Management Services for approximately $2.4B. All parties expect to close the transaction during the first half of this year.
