Liberty IT Solutions has secured a potential three-year, $95M task order to modernize revenue collection and business tools for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The Herndon, Va.-based company said Tuesday it will support consolidated patient account centers under the VA Office of Community Care in efforts to manage collections from private health insurers and integrate processes with the Cerner-built (Nasdaq: CERN) electronic health records system, called Millennium.
VA awarded the task order, which contains one base year plus two one-year options, under the Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation contract.
Teammembers on the project are MD Clarity, Huron Consulting Group and Federal Advisory Partners.
Bill Greene, Liberty CEO, said the award offers the company and its partners an opportunity to provide business management services to the department and continues the firm's 13-year collaboration with CPACs.
In November 2019, Liberty secured a potential $434M task order to lead the integration of the VA’s enterprise health applications into the Cerner EHR system.
