The U.S. Army awarded SOS International a $124.2M contract modification to continue providing base life support and security services at a military installation located in Iraq.
SOSi helps manage and secure Camp Taji’s green zone for soldiers who are part of the Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve mission, the Department of Defense said Monday.
The service branch obligated $42M in fiscal 2020 operation and maintenance funds at the time of award of the modification.
DoD formed CJTF-OIR in October 2014 to counter threats from the Islamic State group in Iraq and Syria. The company secured a $191.2M contract in late 2018 to support the Iraq-based military complex.
