A Vigor Industrial subsidiary has landed a potential $97.9M contract from the U.S. Navy to perform dry-docking selected restricted availability services on the USS Wayne E. Meyer ship.
Vigor Marine will help the service branch modernize, repair and maintain the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer under the firm-fixed-price contract, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Naval Sea Systems Command received one offer for the project via a full and open competition on FedBizOpps.
The contract has a base value of $89.3M and will reach its full value if all options are exercised.
DoD expects the fiscal 2020 DSRA effort to conclude by November.
