USAF Taps South Korea-Based Airline for $213M A-10 Depot Support IDIQ

Korean Airlines has won a potential 10-year, $213M contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide depot support services for A-10 planes.

The Seoul-based company’s aerospace division will perform work for USAF’s Pacific Air Forces command, the Department of Defense said Monday.

USAF awarded the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract after a competitive acquisition process and obligated $166,361at the time of award.

DoD expects contract services to conclude by Dec. 31, 2029.

A-10 Thunderbolt II is a twin-engine aircraft designed to perform close air support, combat search-and-rescue and airborne forward air control missions.
